One of the most popular events for kids and families is the youth
fishing tournament along the banks of the Nanticoke River at the
end of Water Street. The tournament is open to youth in the
following age groups: 3-6; 7-11 and 12-16.

Participants can register late
- Location: Riverwalk
between Market and Water Sts.
- Registration: FREE
- Age Groups:
3-6, 7-11, and 12-16
- Trophies for winners
Bring you own Fishing Poles – a
limited number will be available for use. Bait will be provided.
Volunteers will be on hand to teach kids how to cast their lines
and to bait hooks. A fire department boat will be in the water
to monitor safety. Emergency floatation devices will be on hand.
