Do
you like sun and fun?
If so, you won’t
want to miss the Nanticoke Canoe & Kayak Races on
Saturday, July 10. Indulge your competitive spirit
with others or challenge yourself to paddle the
Nanticoke in one of our 23 individual and/or team
divisions for people of all ages and experience.
Racers must bring
their own canoe or kayak to participate. Medals will
be awarded for first, second, and third place for
each division. Registration begins at 8 a.m. in the
area of Water Street and races will begin at 10 a.m.
Race Day
Registration is $20 per paddler ($40 per team) and
includes an official Riverfest T-shirt.
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and will
continue until Wednesday, July 7th at the cost of
$15 per paddler ($30 per team). For more information

Assignments.
The length of the
Short Kayak is 14ft 6in or less; the length of a
long kayak is a maximum of 18 feet and an extra long
touring kayaks are 18 feet or longer.
To qualify for the
“Senior Men” or “Senior Women” Kayak Classes you
must be at least 50 years old. To qualify for the
“Standard Tandem Senior” Canoe Classes, you must
have a combined age of at least 101 years old.
