Artist Alley
Saturday, July 9th
Nanticoke River arts will be exhibiting their art work all day on “Artist Alley” on South Conwell Street. Be sure to find time to visit our local artisans while strolling the shaded street. The Nanticoke River Arts Council is an Association of artists that began in the Spring of 2007 with a small group of art enthusiasts with a strong desire to share their love for the Arts. Membership includes artists and non-artists alike. Currently, the artisan members create in the following mediums; pen and ink, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, oils, photography, miniature lighthouses, jewelry making, rug hooking, doll making, glass art, and wood carvings.

The current focus is to grow the organization to include fabric art, music, theatre, and other creative pursuits. To date, the artists of the Nanticoke River Arts Council have shown their work in the Seaford area at Riverfest on Artist's Alley, the Seaford Public Library, Art in the Park, the Art Show and Sale in Act II Gardens, and Seaford's Girls' Night Out.

Would you like to be a Part of the Nanticoke Riverfest 2012?
The Riverfest committee is seeking volunteers to help with the event before, during and after the festivities. Specific duties include helping with the children’s programs, setting-up and taking-down equipment, to work the information booths, serving on the trash crew and in many other capacities. Many positions are available depending on your abilities and time constraints. Contact the Nanticoke Riverfest for more details.

This program is made possible, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
