Nanticoke River arts
will be exhibiting their art work all day on “Artist
Alley” on South Conwell Street. Be sure to find time
to visit our local artisans while strolling the
shaded street. The Nanticoke River Arts Council is
an Association of artists that began in the Spring
of 2007 with a small group of art enthusiasts with a
strong desire to share their love for the Arts.
Membership includes artists and non-artists alike.
Currently, the artisan members create in the
following mediums; pen and ink, watercolors,
acrylics, pastels, oils, photography, miniature
lighthouses, jewelry making, rug hooking, doll
making, glass art, and wood carvings.
The current focus is to
grow the organization to include fabric art, music,
theatre, and other creative pursuits. To date, the
artists of the Nanticoke River Arts Council have
shown their work in the Seaford area at Riverfest on
Artist's Alley, the Seaford Public Library, Art in
the Park, the Art Show and Sale in Act II Gardens,
and Seaford's Girls' Night Out. |
