Nanticoke Riverfest 2011

Nanticoke Health Services will once again be part of Riverfest 2011 with a health tent located across from Gateway Park in Seaford. The tent will be open from 10am - 2pm on Saturday, July 9. There will be health information for all ages and interactive displays and health screenings.

Healthcare professionals will provide free blood pressure checks. Representatives of Nanticoke Health Services will provide information on healthy lifestyles and programs and services available at Nanticoke, along with onsite screenings. A First-Aid station will be located under the tent.

The first 100 participants that complete a short survey will receive a FREE gift. Limit one gift per family. To learn more about Nanticoke's health tent, contact Nanticoke Memorial Hospital at 629-6611, extension 8948.

Would you like to be a Part of the Nanticoke Riverfest 2012?
The Riverfest committee is seeking volunteers to help with the event before, during and after the festivities. Specific duties include helping with the children’s programs, setting-up and taking-down equipment, to work the information booths, serving on the trash crew and in many other capacities. Many positions are available depending on your abilities and time constraints. Contact the Nanticoke Riverfest for more details.
